Studio HIRE
Tucked in the heart of Cape Town, our daylight studio was created for creators. A calm, light-filled space where ideas take shape. Curated by a team of photographers and videographers, it’s a place to shoot, gather, or spend a few inspired hours surrounded by soft natural light that fills the room almost all day.
The space features a white infinity curve, interchangeable backdrops, and a collection of thoughtfully chosen props to help you bring your vision to life. Whether you’re capturing content, building your brand, or simply creating something beautiful, our studio is yours to make your own.
Casual bookings.
Once-off studio hire rates. Minimum booking of two hours.

- One secure parking bay is available for your shoot, with additional street parking nearby.
- Please note that the studio is not soundproof and is located in an industrial building alongside a busy road, so some ambient noise may be present.
- We are a daylight studio, and cannot guarantee good weather. We have lighting equipment available if the weather doesn’t play along.

Studio Hire guidelines
- 08h00 – 17h00, Monday to Friday
- Minimum booking: 2 hours, Half-day (up to 4 hrs), Full day (up to 9 hrs)
- Weekends & Public Holidays: Closed.
- Sunlight is weather dependent and not guaranteed
- Optional studio lighting and equipment available at additional cost if weather is poor
- 50% deposit required to secure your booking (non-refundable)
- Balance due on the day of the shoot; no images or materials released until fully paid
- Payment via card, EFT, or agreed alternative; late payments may incur 2.5% interest per month
- One free reschedule if requested 48 hours prior
- Additional reschedules: R350 per request
- Rescheduling within 48 hours of your booking: we unfortunately cannot accommodate cancellations within 48 hours. You are able to reschedule, or you will forfeit your deposit.
- Late arrivals: time slot starts and ends as scheduled; we unfortunately cannot extend your time if you arrive late.
Cancellations & Force Majeure
- Deposits are non-refundable
- Deposits refunded only if Her Studio cancels
- Her Studio not liable for cancellations/disruptions due to events beyond control (weather, power outages, etc.)
- Arrival allowed 15 minutes before booking
- Set-up: R250 per 30 min (excludes infinity curve wall)
- Overtime: R625 per hour (15-minute grace period)
- Maximum 12 people in the studio
- No smoking
- Maintain respectful noise levels
- Clients are responsible for themselves and their guests
- Her Studio may terminate bookings for unsafe or disruptive behaviour; full fees remain payable
- Clients liable for damage, loss, or missing equipment, including personal gear; clients must insure their own equipment
- Equipment returned damaged or incomplete will be repaired at client’s expense
- Use of studio and equipment is entirely at client’s own risk
- Clients agree to indemnify Her Studio against any claims or costs arising from their booking
Studio Marketing
- By booking, clients grant Her Studio permission to use photos/videos taken in the studio for marketing unless agreed otherwise in writing
Acceptance
- Booking confirms that clients have read and accepted these guidelines
